The department launched the first degree program in Nagapattinam with a major in Nutrition & Dietetics in 2018, and introduced the PG program in Food Science & Nutrition in 2020 to meet the growing need for skilled professionals in the food industry and hospitals.
Good food and nutrition are vital to health and well-being.
